On Wednesday, May 4th and Friday, May 6th, over 25 volunteers from Neuberger Berman--an asset management firm located in midtown Manhattan--visited NMIC. On Wednesday, the volunteers engaged in English conversation with more than 80 ESOL students, providing our learners the opportunity to partake in extensive practice. On Friday, the volunteers facilitated a Cinco de Myo-focused art project in collaboration with NMIC's Family Literacy program. Over 15 families participated in Friday's activity. Each event was a tremendous success! NMIC would like to thank Neuberger Berman for their generosity and dedication to our community.
