On Thursday, October 21, 2010, NMIC held its first job fair at the United Palace Theatre- Christ Community Church. Over 40 employers set up tables in order to inform community residents of available positions, collect resumes and in some cases, have residents fill out job applications on the spot. Over 1,000 job seekers were present. Due to the overwhelming number of residents that showed up, many others were not able to enter the Church, so NMIC staff collected resumes and will pass them along to employers.
