Cuts To Adult Literacy Programs Spark Protests from Immigrants & Teachers

On Wednesday, June 6th, NMIC participated in the #LiteracyLiftsNYC social media campaign and rally at City Hall, organized by the New York City Coalition for Adult Literacy (NYCCAL) in support of $12 million in baseline funding for vital adult literacy programs throughout the city, including NMIC's adult education programs.
