NMIC's Domestic Violence Project (DVP) offers bilingual community-based counseling, case management, and legal services for victims and survivors of intimate partner violence.
What We Do:
Trauma informed counseling and crisis intervention
Risk assessment and safety planning
Case management and advocacy
Support group
Shelter placement & relocation assistance
Workshops on financial literacy, healing, parenting, stress reduction, women’s health and wellness, and others
Clients have access to our Family Law Services and other wrap-around services offered at NMIC
Who We Do it For:
All New York City residents, with a focus on those in Northern Manhattan and the South and West Bronx
